I've spent a lot of time in Oxfordshire but never did I know it was so stunningly beautiful. Arriving at Hambleden, after driving through the gorgeous Marlow, I was so struck by his gorgeous village I had to stop the car to walk around it a little bit (good job I was a few hours early!). After bumping into the boys at the church, I headed up the hill, through windy trees and rolling hills to find Carolyn at Old Luxter's Barn where they'd be having their reception later on. Old Luxter's Barn is my kinda place - an independent vineyard is a stunning location selling local wares.
Carolyn met Jim outside the church before their ceremony (which, unfortunately, I wasn't allowed to photograph) and then we headed back up to the barn as the night set in. The mist and the low light created such a beautiful atmosphere and was perfect for those first moments alone as man and wife. They then partied into the night with a ceilidh!
I was lucky to work with the wonderful Rosie Powell who was on film duty and the film is just incredible! Check her out.
